Lightgame
Lightgame is lightartwork on facade of a new loft apartment building. It is made with interactive computer programmed leds in close co-operation with the architect Pia Ilonen. The work is functional and artistic. It gives light to the people in the corridors. From outside the lights can be seen as big lightartwork on the facade. The leds are placed in handrails (33 m long) of the corridors in 5 blocks. They react with censors to movement and give light for inhabitants to move. When there is no movement in the corridor the computer chooses randomly a program which moves the lights on the facade smoothly.
